Casa de Amor now has a delivery van to assist with collecting and transporting food for distribution.
A brand new walk-in freezer was installed on Casa’s campus to provide more fresh food and meat options.
Shelves were added to Casa’s food storage area to help use the space all the available area in the space.
Rio Vista Center
The community garden consisting of six raised beds with irrigation was relocated and replanted for the heat on Rio’s campus – fresh peppers, tomatoes, squash and watermelon are coming in.
There is now an expanded sidewalk at Rio Vista Center which enhances daily food distribution.
Rio Vista Center has a newer box truck that is making fresh food pick up and distribution at satellite locations more accessible.
