Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to directly impact the lives of those in need. We would love to meet you and see how God is leading you to get involved.

Individuals, families and groups are all welcome! Please contact your nearest center to connect with the director. Volunteer opportunities include:

Building food boxes
Sorting clothing
Serving and praying with clients during walk-in hours
Teaching job skills classes
Community outreach

Donate Needed Items

Rio Vista Center and Casa de Amor are always in need of non-perishable food, hygiene products and clothing. Items may be dropped off at either center location. We may be able to schedule pick-up if you have a large quantity of items. Please contact us to find out how your church or group can host a food and/or clothing drive.

Locations

Host a Food Drive

Recruit your church, Bible study, school or workplace to host a food drive. Our goal is to make a food drive easy to host. We have an established model for how to organize the drive and collect the food, and we provide fliers and posters to help promote it. All you have to do is decide the best time for your food drive and we take care of the rest. To start a drive in your area, send us a message online or call us at (800) 678-0648.

Intern

Gain real world experience, spiritual growth and exposure to ministry by interning through our parent organization, Arizona Baptist Children’s Services & Family Ministries. Internships can take place during the school semester or summer, and can be customized based on the needs of the student and the ministry.

Pray

Commit to praying that God will give us wisdom, compassion and most of all, His love for each individual who comes to us. Pray that each person served would feel a sense of hope and dignity as we build relationships with them. Pray that through these interactions, lives would be saved.
