Every week thousands of pounds of fresh, healthy food on grocery shelves would go to waste. Instead, through our Fresh Food Program, groceries are rescued from grocery stores and distributed to families in need.
Through our Fresh Food Program, surplus food is recovered and redistributed to individuals and families in need. Each year, we pick up and distribute more than 2 million pounds of food and provide over 65,000 food boxes to those facing food insecurity. We partner with a dedicated food rescue network that works alongside local grocery stores to coordinate donations and pickups.
While the food itself is generously donated, the work of getting it into the hands of those who need it most is not without cost.
To keep this essential work moving forward, we rely on partners like you. Your financial support helps make every part of this program possible, from coordinating pickups to covering truck maintenance and fuel. Thus, ensuring that no good food goes to waste and more families are served.
